Mikhail Kudryavtsev

Mikhail Kudryavtsev is a Director of Data Science with about 15 years of experience in data science and machine learning, including 9 years in leadership roles. He has led large teams of data scientists, ML engineers, analysts, and MLOps engineers (20–25+ people) in top post-soviet banks such as Sberbank and DOM.RF. His work focuses on credit risk, antifraud, AML, and advanced risk-modelling, using both structured and unstructured data, including NLP and modern LLMs. Mikhail designed and implemented “Loan in 7 Minutes,” an award-winning corporate lending system that cut time-to-money from a week to minutes and became a flagship AI project at Sberbank. He has built multiple PD, LGD, fraud, and cash-flow models that passed regulatory validation and supported rapid portfolio growth. Technically, he’s strong in Python, SAS, SQL, Hadoop/Spark, and GCP, and he has hands-on experience owning ML infrastructure products. Mikhail holds an MSc in Applied Mathematics from MIPT and completed Stanford’s AI Professional Program in 2024–2025.
